Going Double Dutch
Year 11 students from North Shore Academy travelled to Ede, Holland, to continue with their long term exchange programme with Pallas Athene College.
Following a successful exchange visit last year when Dutch students visited the Academy and were hosted in NSA homes, 16 students paid a return, five day, visit to Ede.
The students, all with a keen interest in sport, worked with 80 Dutch youngsters coaching them in cricket, which culminated in a cricket festival, organised by the students.
Of course, learning had to continue and so the UK students attended lessons at the College taking part in discussions and presentations.
Everyone enjoyed the trip and visited a local cinema and Utrecht. They even managed to celebrated two birthdays whilst there.
