Inspiring Healthy Minds

Clubs

The Academy has many opportunities for our students to extend their learning through the clubs we offer.

Fun Friday / Enrichment

The Academy encourage all students to attend enrichments during or after the Academy day. The Academy run a fun Friday programme. Each department or School run at least two enrichments for students to choose to attend after the Academy day on Fridays. These fun clubs supplement other activities run during the week and provide time for the students to develop new skills and interact with staff and other students.

Community Involvement

Students are expected to become actively involved in the local community. Our award winning 'Be Brilliant' Community Scheme is growing year on year after the Academy won the 'Best School in the Community' - School Awards 2014.

Student earn rewards for participating in community events and activities. These activities can include seasonal festivals, primary school visits and sporting events. Students have been involved with scheme's helping improve the local area through linking with Stockton Council and building companies, naming the new estate streets, Clearing overgrown areas through the John Muir Scheme and creating murals.
